KKU orients students in the Joint Field Training under the New Normal lifestyle

The Joint Field Training Committee of Khon Kaen University cooperates with health science faculties including Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Associated Medical Science, Pharmaceutical Science and General Education Institution of Khon Kaen University and Faculty of Nursing of the College of Asian Scholars to hold an orientation of the program for the participating students under the New Normal lifestyle amid the spread of the new Coronavirus – Covid-19 all over the world.

Friday and Saturday September 11-12, 2020 – 694 third and fourth year students of the health science faculties attended the program orientation online on the website: https://kkucommed.kku.ac.th/ and Google Classroom Platform, which offer manual for students, video clips, documents and various information’s manual. The online orientation began at 18:00 p.m. of Friday, September 11, 2020. Then in the afternoon of Saturday September 12, the students joined in 12 clusters of roughly 60 people each under the social distancing observation and mask wearing all through the session. There was no plenary session that involves all attendants in order to guard against the spread of COVID-19.

The orientation was aimed at preparing the students for the field practice by explaining them details of the Training process. Working plans were also set, which involve co-working of students from different faculties. Over 40 lecturers from the abovementioned faculties joined and gave students recommendations and advice all through the session.
